Having been around when this came out, I was excited to hear that it was being redone. This also made me interested in finding the original. This DVD is just perfect! The video is fantastic, and the backstory is fascinating.

I wanted to know more about the history of the first release of this song prior to the new, revised song coming out this spring.
This anniversary edition was great entertainment, complete with participants' interviews and excerpts from award programs which acknowledged "We Are the World"....a wonderful piece of entertainment history for my kids to enjoy.
