Product Description Bump!, the world's first and most-watched gay and lesbian travel television series, is now on DVD. Join our host Shannon McDonough as she shows you the best Spain has to offer gays and lesbians. This resourceful and entertaining DVD is perfect for the seasoned and armchair traveler alike. Madrid Spain's largest city also is home to the country's biggest gay scene. Shannon eats, sleeps, shops and dances her way through this colorful, bustling modern city, with its dozens of gay venues. Barcelona Barcelona's energetic, stylish gay scene keeps Shannon up until the wee hours, as she discovers that the Catalonian night owls don't get started with the fun until midnight! In the daytime hours, she wanders all over the Gayxample district mingling with the Latin locals. Valencia Spain s third-largest city basks contentedly on the coast. Surrounded by dramatic mountains, the city boasts impressive architecture, a character-steeped old town and lively lesbian and gay bars. Shannon sees it all and takes you along for the ride.

I do not think many of us think of Spain as a destination for a gay holiday but I can assure you that after watching this DVD, you may change your mind. Madrid, Spain's largest city is where the majority of the gay community is located. There is a lot to do "gaywise" here and Shannon makes sure we see as much of it as possible But do not think that Madrid has a monopoly on the gay scene--Barcelona is full of rocking energy. Located on the Catalonian region, night life starts late and goes on until the wee hours of morning. There is even a section of Barcelona known as the Gayxample district and it is filled with shops and coffee houses and meeting place. Valencia, Spain's third largest city lies on the coast and set among beautiful mountains. The place is simply gorgeous and it has a very lively GLBT scene. Spain, with its Catholic roots and its history of intolerance has come quite a long way in reference to gays and lesbians. I am putting it on my list of places to go.
