Product Description Bump!, the world's first and most watched gay and lesbian travel television series, is now on DVD. Join sexy gay soap star Charlie David as he shows you some of the best Europe has to offer gays and lesbians. This resourceful and entertaining DVD is perfect for the seasoned and armchair traveler alike! Paris: Bump! host Charlie David tours the gayest of gay Paris by first visiting the best gay accommodations and the world's first and only gay-themed museum. Culturally satisfied, Charlie makes pit-stops to learn the fine art of French cooking and eats delicate desserts. Go with Charlie as he parties the night away with a bar tour culminating in a visit to Paris' oldest gay dance club! Berlin: Berlin gets off to a busy start as Charlie takes us to the Mann-O-Meter, a must-stop for all that is gay in Berlin, followed by a "divas and gay icons" walking tour of the city. Charlie also visits a gay museum, a few gay cafes and Bruno's, a vast gay media and book store. After a rest at a chic hotel, it's off to sample the very hip restaurant scene followed by a bar and club tour. Amsterdam: Bump! takes viewers on a whirlwind tour of Amsterdam including a stop at the gay tourist center located at the foot of the world's only monument dedicated to gay concentration camp victims. Experience Amsterdam's unique gay pride with Charlie and then watch him being fitted for leather chaps. Visit an unusual washroom and finally hit Amsterdam's bar scene. There is something for just about every kind of queer taste in this world class city.

"Bump!" European Highlights
Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam
Amos Lassen
We are off again with "Bump!" this time to Europe to visit Paris, Berlin and Amsterdam. Charlie Daniel is going to show us to have a good time while touting three major gay destinations. Paris is our first stop--gay Paree, the city of lights, the city of love. In order to get out bearings, we take a walk tour of the gayest section of Paris, Le Marais. We go to Absolu Living so that we can get the best gay accommodations in the city and then get to the annual Rainbow Attitude Expo, a feast for the eyes where we find everything any gay person could possibly want and all in the same place. But our eyes are not filled yet so we head for the Orsay, the first and only museum anywhere in the world which houses gay art and artifacts. Now it's time for a drink so we go with Charlie to Le Raidd and then realize how hungry we are. Passing a shop, we go in and have a piece of the most decadent chocolate cake ever. Night is falling and entertainment calls us s we take a tour of the bars and ultimately end up at Queen, the oldest dance club in Paris. Berlin is entirely different than Paris. We begin at Mann-o-Meter, which is one of those must visit places, The Diva and Gay Icon walking tour of the city takes you everywhere toy need to be in Berlin. The Schwulwsmuseum is a gay museum and Bruno's is like a gay Wal-Mart which has movies, books and CDs and almost everything else gay. There are gay coffee shops all along the way as well. We meet Monika who is the person who knows more about the Berlin gay scene than anyone else and she has been active since the 70's. Our home away from home is the Arco Hotel and it is the perfect place for a snooze before hitting the wild night life of Berlin. Before that, we stop for a drink and dinner at Zoe and More and then to a bar tour which includes the famous Cafe club where the Halloween Masquerade is going on. Of course Amsterdam is in a class all by itself. After getting settled in a hotel, The Golden Bear, where the rooms are wild, we go with Charlie on a very fast tour of the city. First stop is Pink Point, the gay tourist information center which is located at the foot if the only monument in the world dedicated to the gay victims of the Holocaust. It is Gay Pride time in Amsterdam when we are there and it is really different as it is held on barges which float down the various canals of the city. What would a trip be without shopping and Charlie gets fitted for leather chaps. We have to eat and the place in Amsterdam for that is the SupperClub, a fabulous dining experience. The restrooms here are very interesting--something we do not see in America. Amsterdam's bar scene is large and varied and caters to every aspect of gay life.
