4 out of 5 stars Awesome workout ... annoying DVD   October 13, 2008
Jess B (Seattle, WA)
As all the other reviews have stated this is a great workout! I love the levels of intensity. My husband tried to do level 2 with me and quit after five minutes!

This would have been 5 stars hands down if it wasn't for the fact that you have to sit through the dvd start up screens AND an introduction by Jillian every time (I can't even stop the dvd). This seems like a pretty bad error for a workout dvd that's made to be done everyday (or close to it).

5 out of 5 stars How get fit in 20 minutes!   October 12, 2008

You can't get fit in 20mins without those 20mins being focused and intense. I've spent years "phoning it in" (a Jillian-ism) at the gym and these workouts are more intense but vastly more productive. This is not your typical workout video. With most workout videos a relatively "fit" but inactive person (I don't rock climb for fun) will find them generating a small sweat but producing next to zero results. Might as well just climb the stairs a bit and park in the far end of the lot. This is not one of those videos. Want to not take the stairs, park upfront, and see results? This is the right video.

This is a great video. Remember start it out easy, or you won't be able to move for days. like me :-)

3 out of 5 stars I developed horrible knee pain & am not grossly overweight!   October 12, 2008

This workout is great, I did it 3 - 4 days per week for 1 month, but along the way developed horrible left knee pain. No one move sent me over the edge, it was progressive, I now have an arthritic knee & have great pains with changes in the weather/barometric pressure. The exercises are simple & remind me of basic gym class moves as a kid. It is easy to follow with great prompting. I cannot believe that Jillian's "no excuses, there's no modification" for many moves, I am 20 pounds overweight, but anyone carrying greater amoounts af weight must really be hurting their knees. I've given the DVD away, it was just harmful to my knee.

5 out of 5 stars the best workout tape - ever!   October 12, 2008

Cheerful, motivating, complete workout in 20 minutes with 3 varieties to choose from in each of the 3 levels. Starts with showing the Biggest Loser contestants working out with Jillian " Ooo - Eric means business"-What more can you ask for than to have the Biggest Loser personal trainer totally devoted - to you - saying "I have 400# people doing these jumping jacks - so - can - you ... these abs don't come for free, you're going to have to work for it, and you can - don't you dare turn off that DVD - we're almost done in 4-3-2-1. ;-) I lost 6" in one month.
