Pure Awesomeness December 27, 2008 This was by far the funniest volumes I've ever watched. All the characters are still hilarious. Plus, three new characters are introduced: Yutaka Kobayakawa (Konata's cousin), Minami Iswaski (Yutaka's friend) and Patricia Martin (Konata's co-worker @ the cosplay cafe). Out of the new characters I think that Minami is the hottest, Yutaka is so sweet she'll give you a toothache, and Patricia is the bustiest ^_^. All in all it's a very enjoyable DVD. I'd highly recommend it for the "Lucky Star" fans. Also, in this volume you get to hear Akira Kogami sing "Misoji Masaki (The Cape of Thirty Years)" and she sounds pretty good too (despite her attitude ^_^).
Lucky star volume 4 December 7, 2008 Steven Hinton (upton, wirral United Kingdom) Lucky Star Vol 4This is a fun dvd, if you have seen and enjoyed The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and who hasn't, then Lucky star is the one for you, as it come from the same company, and has the same humour running through it, I really recommend you at least watch it once, and then you will want the series
Great volume like previous but poor outro November 25, 2008 H. V. Banh (Washington, USA) I am sure if you are watching Lucky Star up to this volume then you probably a fan of this show already, at the very least you enjoy this show enough to keep wanting more. It has similar slice-of-life/comedy like previous volume but with a few new characters introduce to the story. Only thing that bother me a bit was the annoying outro starting from this volume, it used real life people to do a little bit of singing close to sea probably somewhere in Japan for the outro for every single episode. It would have been 5 stars for this volume except for annoying outro that made me hit the skip button on my remote as soon as it starts playing the outro.
