5 out of 5 stars Best TV Show Ever!   November 17, 2008
Sam Fisher
"The Unit: Season 3" is the best season so far (excluding the still airing Season 4) in the best TV show ever!

Pros:
Awesome Acting (especially the male actors REALLY act well and say funny and memorable lines and the women even do sometimes)
Incredible Plot (the twists of this series always leave you wondering and the plot lines are amazing! Simply amazing!)
Terrific Authenticity (the levels of detail in the dialogue, weapons, tactics, locations, etc. really make you feel as if this was actually happening!)
I Can't Say Enough Good Things About It (it's the best TV show ever!!!!)

Cons:
Too Short (this season was too short, because of the annoying writers' strike, but season 4 is on right now, Sundays at 10 on CBS, and is in full swing)
Some People Don't Realize It's Still On (yes, people, The Unit is on Sundays at 10:00pm on CBS and it's NOT canceled)

Watch this incredible show and then go to bed dazzled!

5 out of 5 stars Someone finally made a great military drama with real action   November 16, 2008
Daniel P. Furr (Fredericksburg, Virginia United States)
The Unit is one of best shows on television and one of the best military shows to hit any screen. No crappy effects and it always has a great story. Read Inside Delta Force by Eric Haney and then watch the shows over again. You'll realize this show is for real and sometimes follows the book in present day situations which tells me this a realistic drama.

5 out of 5 stars Great Service   November 11, 2008

5 out of 5 stars Its back...in full effect   November 10, 2008
The Mandrew (The Dub-V)
After what I felt was a lackluster second season, this short season's returns to the action that made the first season amazing. The stakes are a little high in some of the episodes (I wont spoil things, but I'm sometimes amazed that they dont mobilize The Army instead of The Unit when faced with the trials and tribulations they do), but the interaction with the wives and families is a lot more complementary than a separate drama.

The only thing missing? The theme from seasons 1 and 2! I like the new song by Robert Duncan, but I thought the "Fired Up" cadence from the first two seasons was a rare case of a flawless theme song. But I'll forgive it.

3 out of 5 stars Only eleven episodes for $27.99 ???   November 2, 2008

I absolutely love this show and own the Season 1,2,and 3 but Season 3 was very disappointing. The season starts out with a bang, but slowly slips downhill and no real season grand finale. And with only 11 episodes for $27.99, I think this is a total rip-off for the loyal fans of the Unit! WHAT - is Hollywood running out of money ???
