Very well done. One has their heart, mind and soul opened to the life of this remarkable man. Don't be surprised if you learn something about him, you never realized. Catholic or Protestant - both would gain from this film. Family film? Yes.

This is an excellent and entertaining portrayal of the life of the late, great Pope from his teen years until his death. It it recognized by the Vatican and therefore much is factual. The acting is fantastic. Jon Voight bears such a striking resemblance to John Paul II. It is a most enjoyable and enlightening film.

This is by far one of the best movies that highlights the life of John Paul the Great. Jon Voigt is amazing in his portrayl of JPII. This is a wonderful video for Catholics and non-Catholics alike!

This is a powerful, moving movie about the man who touched people near and far throughout his life in the many roles he played-adolescent, seminarian, priest, Bishop and later, Pope. Cary Elwes and Jon Voight bring Pope John Paul II to life in stunning, loving and respectful portrayals of him throughout his years. It's like a living history book with the primary message of good trumping evil despite the difficulties presented. This movie is well worth watching!!!

I met Pope John Paul II both as a young pope and when he was dying. In watching this video, I thought at some points I was actually seeing Pope John Paul II. Cary Elwes and Jon Voigt really captured the spirit of John Paul beautifully. An excellent movie that even my teenagers in the parish are enjoying.
